Eligibility Details
Visiting Faculty
Master's degree in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Applied Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent Grade. The candidate should not have any ATKT in his/her career from graduation onwards. The applicants must possess a Ph. D degree in Mathematics/Statistics. Alternatively, NET conducted by UGC or equivalent qualification like SLET/SET accredited by the UGC will be considered. The selection committee can relax these conditions for candidates with computer skills and experience such as C++, python, latex and with other numerical skills. Ph.D pursuing candidates must attach NOC from their supervisor saying that He/she has no objection being her/his student employed as a visiting faculty in the department. Research paper publication in peer reviewed Journals and in National/International conferences will be the desirable qualifications but not mandatory. Teaching experience of teaching mathematics/statistics to the graduate and post graduate students of Mathematics/statistics will be given added advantage.

Selection Process
- 1Personal Interview
Held at the School of Mathematics and Statistics; no request for an online interview or a change of interview date will be entertained, and no TA/DA is paid for attending.
Salary Structure
Honorarium of Rs. 800 per hour or Rs. 400 per hour or Rs. 200 per hour as per the candidate's qualification and university norms
