Assistant Electrical Engineer - Qualification and Experience
Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering from recognized (AICTE) University/Institution. Retired Railway employee in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-7 to Level-10 or equivalent. Work Experience (Mandatory): Minimum 8 years in Railway/PSU related to locomotive maintenance or electrical rolling stock. Must have worked in loco shed/workshop. Candidate should have knowledge of the relevant specifications i.e. Railway Board and RDSO and other relevant codes and specifications.

Salary Structure
7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-10 (6th CPC, PB-3, Rs.15600-39100 with GP Rs.5400/-). Pay and allowances governed as per Railway Board guidelines issued from time to time (last month basic minus pension). Incentives/allowances of USBRL project also paid.

Brief Description of Duties
- Assist Dy.CEE/Loco in bid preparation and technical studies
- Support in vendor identification, costing of tools, manpower and spares
- Conduct loco shed/workshop site visits and prepare technical feasibility reports
- Coordinate with civil/mechanical teams and representatives
- Liaise with OEMs and specialist contractors for maintenance of electrical sub-systems such as propulsion, transformer, brake control and auxiliary systems
- Serve as technical representative for all matters related to contract management
- Project management, quality assurance and safety of works
- Assist in floating, negotiations, finalization of tenders, claims and allied works
- Preparation of reports in connection with the works assigned
- Any other work as assigned by the Controlling Officer from time to time
Place of Posting
Initially at Corporate Office, Belapur, later as per the requirement of KRCL all over India. Place of posting as per project requirement all over India.
