Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer - Eligibility and Experience
Specific IRSEE officer should have completed minimum 5 years of Railway service and above & should be presently working in JAG/SS. The officer having service experience in design, planning, construction, execution of Railway Electrification projects (RE)/ Operation & Maintenance of the power supply installations, OHE and RC equipment / maintenance & operation of electric locomotives and electric multiple unit (EMU) stocks outside the electric loco shed and/or Train operation, Crew management / Maintenance and operation of the Electric Locos based in the shed/ Electrical General Services in Indian Railway/PSUs/Metro. Candidate should have knowledge of the relevant specification i.e. Railway Board & RDSO and other relevant codes & specifications.

Salary Structure
JAG/SS as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-12 or Level-11. The officer will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions which would have been admissible on the Railways plus deputation (duty) allowance.

Important Details
- Applications of officers working in Zonal Railways/PSUs for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other organizations must be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in the Ministry, at least 07 days prior to the last date of the vacancy notice.
- KRCL will consider applications of only those officers whose applications are forwarded by Railway Board.
- Selection criteria will be as mentioned in Ministry of Railway, Railway Board's letter No. 2017/E(O)II/41/5 dated 25.05.2017 and No. 2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 07.03.2018.
Deputation Terms
The normal term of deputation is 3 years, extendable up to five (05) years. KRCL has been permitted exemption from the rule of immediate absorption up to 31/12/2026. Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible during the deputation tenure in KRCL as per Railway Board guidelines issued from time to time.

Yes. The notice accepts service experience in Indian Railway, PSUs or Metro in the relevant electrical, electrification and rolling stock areas.
