Eligibility Details
Senior Resident (Radiology, Anesthesia, Microbiology, Surgery, Paediatrics)
MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by Medical Council of India. In case PG Candidate is not available, Non-PG with at least two years experience in concerned specialty in Govt./Govt. empanelled hospital will be considered. Registered with Delhi Medical Council (only qualification incorporated in DMC will be considered) and have not completed three years Senior Residency.

Important Details
- Appointment is initially for 89 days or till a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier.
- If reserved candidates are not available, posts earmarked to them are filled from General/Unreserved candidates on adhoc basis for 44 days.
- Selected candidates get a maximum of 7 days to join from the date of acceptance, failing which the offer stands cancelled.
- No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the interview and no physical application is accepted directly without online form submission.
- OBC candidates must possess a non-Creamy layer certificate along with the caste certificate on or before the cut-off date as per GNCT Delhi guidelines.
- The hospital reserves the right to change the number of vacancies or withdraw the process without notice.
OBC Reservation Rules (GNCT Delhi)
Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi get reservation and age relaxation under the OBC category. OBC candidates from outside Delhi are treated as Unreserved and must apply under the UR category. Two certificates are accepted: an OBC (Delhi) certificate issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi on the basis of an old certificate issued to a family member from GNCT of Delhi, or an OBC certificate issued by a competent authority outside Delhi to a person of a community notified as OBC by GNCT of Delhi, issued on the basis of a Delhi OBC certificate held by a family member who resided in Delhi before 08/09/1993.
Waitlist and Result
- A panel of waitlisted candidates will be prepared for filling Senior Resident vacancies arising in future.
- The result will be declared on the website of the Deptt. of H & FW, GNCT Delhi.
Service Conditions
- The hospital fixes the duties and responsibilities of all Senior Residents and Junior Residents from time to time.
- The service is governed by the Residency Scheme of the Govt. of India and the Civil Services (Temporary Rules 1978).
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of educational qualification, age, caste, DMC registration and internship completion certificates.
