200 marks with one mark per question, 3 hours, in English, Telugu and Urdu; minimum qualifying marks are 40% for OC, 35% for BC and 30% for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen.

Height and physical measurement check against the standards for the post applied for.

- The ASI (Fingerprint Bureau) posts follow a separate technical recruitment process with a 2-tier filtration starting at the Physical Measurement / Physical Efficiency Test, and no exam date has been announced for them.
- Aadhaar Face Authentication was introduced for the first time in this police recruitment; the 2.6% of candidates who could not complete it had to finish the process in their login area by 30 September 2026.
