Important Details
- UCSL is engaged in hazardous operations, so PwBD candidates have not been included.
- Candidates must submit only one application and an application once submitted is final; no change in the data is allowed after final submission, and incomplete, withdrawn or draft applications are not considered.
- Candidates with qualifications equivalent to the prescribed ones must submit an Equivalency Certificate from the competent authority.
- Applicants in regular Government service or Government owned organisations must upload a declaration (Annexure-I) that they have informed their employer in writing, and produce a No Objection Certificate before final selection.
- Ex-servicemen must submit an undertaking (Annexure-II) that they have not been re-employed in Government after availing ex-servicemen benefits.
- No hard copy of the application, certificates or fee needs to be sent by post.
- Candidates appearing for the Personal Interview are reimbursed single to and fro third AC rail fare by the shortest route on production of proof and bank passbook details, and this does not apply when selection is held through electronic media.

Rank List Validity
A rank list is maintained for all posts and stays valid up to 18 months from the date of reporting of the last candidate advised to join, or until a fresh notification for the same post is issued.
